Food Pantries

South County Outreach
SCO provides a Food Market to the community that offers nourishing ingredients and staples — like milk, butter, eggs, protein, and fresh produce — needed to make full meals, lunches, and snacks. To shop at the

SCO Food Market, please fill out an application, a self-declaration of income form, and the pantry policy forms, which can be found here. You can download the forms, fill them out ahead of time, and bring them to the Food Market during your visit. You must also provide a valid photo ID. For detailed information about the new client application process, please call 949-380-8144 ext. 207. The Food Market is located at 7 Whatney, Suite B Irvine, CA 92618 and is open Monday-Thursday, 9am-2 pm.

Families Forward
Families Forward offers food assistance in the form of a Community Market. This Community Market is available to single individuals, couples, and families residing in Orange County. The Community Market at Families Forward is located at 8 Thomas in Irvine. They offer food assistance Mondays 9 am – 2 pm and Tuesday -Thursday, 10 am -3 pm. Families may shop for food every two weeks by appointment, and receive diapers once a month. All new visitors must first register at their front desk to start receiving food.

Mariners Church
At the Mariners Church Food Pantry, families can shop for the foods that best fit their family’s tastes and nutritional needs. They offer a choice-based experience that empowers families to make the best selections for their household while restoring dignity and respect. They strive to create a warm, welcoming space where one can feel comfortable and cared for. The Food Pantry is located at 5001 Newport Coast Dr., Irvine, CA 92603 and is open Tuesday-Friday, 9:30am-12:30pm.

City of Irvine Free Grocery Food Box
The City of Irvine, in collaboration with Community Action Partnership of Orange County, is offering The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). Eligible residents will receive a box of food weighing approximately 30 pounds once a month. The box contains a variety of dried beans, fresh produce, canned and frozen vegetables, fruit/vegetable juice, meat (when available), poultry, fish, nuts, milk, cheese, rice, cereal, and pasta. This is a drive-through distribution that occurs at the Great Park, Parking Lot 2 on the second Thursday of each month, 9am-12pm. Food boxes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
