Where Innovation Meets Opportunity in Irvine
The Irvine Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Center) is a City initiative designed to strengthen Irvine’s innovation economy by providing a centralized hub for entrepreneurs, startups, and high-growth companies.
The Center will serve as a collaborative destination where businesses can access resources, expertise, and connections that help turn ideas into scalable ventures, all within one of the nation’s most dynamic innovation ecosystems.
From Vision to Reality
The Center is transitioning from strategic planning toward implementation. Over the past year, the City has worked with partners, stakeholders, and industry leaders to shape the Center’s vision, operating framework, and program priorities.
On January 13, 2026, the City Council directed advancement of key implementation efforts, including site identification, development of partnership frameworks, and securing philanthropic support. As this work progresses, the City looks forward to sharing exciting updates as the Center moves closer to launch.

The Center brings together workspace, programming, and strategic partnerships to support companies at every stage of growth. By co-locating ecosystem partners and business support services, the Center aims to reduce barriers to innovation and help businesses move from concept to commercialization faster.
