The City of Irvine invites the community to celebrate Earth Day Saturday, April 18, from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. at Quail Hill Community Center.  Enjoy guided hikes and discover ways to live more sustainably with hands-on activities, informative demonstrations, and presentations offered by partner organizations.

Guided Hikes with Irvine Ranch Conservancy 

Join Irvine Ranch Conservancy for guided hikes through the scenic Quail Hill Loop Trail. These hikes will be offered at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Space is limited; sign-ups are available on-site. 

Composting Demonstration 

At noon, discover how composting can help reduce waste and improve garden health through an interactive demonstration offering easy and effective tips for starting a compost.  

Go Solar Coffee Chat with OC Goes Solar 

Connect with the OC Goes Solar team at 11:30 a.m. for a coffee chat about the benefits of switching to solar power. Learn about reducing energy costs while contributing to a more sustainable future.
