The South Coast Air Quality Management District (South Coast AQMD) will host a community meeting on air quality issues related to All American Asphalt (AAA) located in Irvine, CA. South Coast AQMD has been conducting an on-going investigation concerning the AAA hot mix and batch plant. The facility is located within a few miles of multiple residential communities. The community meeting will include:

The City of Irvine seeks to honor and remember its residents who have died from COVID-19 by establishing a memorial webpage and tribute. Sadly, 80 Irvine residents have succumbed to COVID-19 since the pandemic began. The memorial webpage offers the community an opportunity to remember loved ones lost to the coronavirus. The webpage will be updated as new submissions are received.

The community is invited to watch the swearing-in ceremony for the newly-elected Mayor and City Councilmembers from 2-3 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8. Councilmember Farrah N. Khan will be sworn in as Mayor, while Councilmember Mike Carroll, Councilmember-elect Tammy Kim, and Councilmember-elect Larry Agran will be sworn into office for their respective terms.
