The City of Irvine Human Resources & Innovation Department will host its annual GIS Day on November 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Irvine Civic Center. The day is designed as a forum for users of geographic information systems (GIS) technology to demonstrate real-world applications that are making a difference in our City and society. The City of Irvine is underway with the Irvine Business Complex (IBC) Trails Feasibility Study, or “IBC Connects” project. The IBC Connects project is a feasibility study to evaluate the development of multi-use connected trails and linear parks in the IBC area.  The IBC area is a dynamic, mixed-use residential, employment, and retail center located on the west side of Irvine near the John Wayne Airport.
