Home Owners Associations allow individual owners the use of common property and facilities and provide for a system of self-governance through an association. A positive and valuable HOA is generally one in which homeowners assume an active role, by attending association meetings, voting, paying dues, and by serving on committees and participating in group activities. It is involved owners who build the HOA and make it a community.
The City of Irvine Code Enforcement process begins with notification or observance of a violation of the City's Code of Ordinances It is our residents who ensure critical City requirements are observed. It can be a confidential phone call from a resident, email, letter, or an Inspector's routine check of the neighborhoods. Below are a few commonly reported concerns.

Boarding houses (or rooming houses) are residences where there are two or more rental agreements. City of Irvine zoning requirements prohibit boarding houses in many locations, yet allow them to be considered by conditional use permit in certain zoning districts.
City of Irvine Code Enforcement Inspectors ensure a healthy and safe community, by responding to concerns from the public. This includes violations of building construction without permits, hoarding conditions, property maintenance, short-term rentals, unpermitted signs, boarding houses, and more.

The Registrar of Voters will host a mobile “pop-up” election booth for early voting on Monday, March 11 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Irvine Civic Center. The “pop-up” Early Voting Service Center is open to all Orange County residents who reside in District 3. Services include:
- In-person Early Voting
- Secure Ballot Drop-Off, including Vote-By-Mail Ballots
- Replacement Ballots
- Full-Service Voter Assistance
- Same Day Conditional Voter Registration
