In conjunction with the Great Park Gallery's summer exhibition A Brief History of the El Toro Air Show: 1950–1997, the Palm Court Arts Complex will become home to a series of musical events paying homage to the park's history as the former Marine Corps Air Station El Toro. Come enjoy a summer evening of dancing to big band, jazz, and swing music. All ages welcome.

The City of Irvine's Sizzlin' Summer Concerts return to Mike Ward Community Park — Woodbridge with a series of six free family-friendly concerts. Bring a picnic basket or plan to purchase treats from gourmet food trucks.

On Sunday, August 11, see the popular Orange County band Tijuana Dogs. This high-energy party rock band will have you up and dancing the entire time.

Musical Playground: 5:30 p.m.
Concert: 7 p.m.

As part of Irvine's Sizzlin' Summer Concert series, enjoy a free outdoor concert featuring the Pacific Symphony, led by Music Director Carl St.Clair. At 5:30 p.m., a Musical Playground will open with interactive activities for children including making an instrument, playing a drum, meeting a musician, and a conducting clinic with Maestro St.Clair. The concert begins at 7 p.m.

On Sunday, July 28, at 5:30 p.m., the dynamic band The Country Club will perform the best of country's current hits, along with a few crowd favorites from other genres.

As an added bonus, guests are invited to kick up their boots and join a free intermission line dance instruction at 6:30 p.m.

On Sunday, July 21, enjoy The Trip, a high energy and genuine rock cover band that will take you on a fun-filled musical journey through the '60s, '70s, '80s, and '90s — all the way to today.

On Sunday, July 14, at 5:30 p.m., The Suffragettes will perform your favorite Top 40 hits. This all-female group will be sure to fill the park with your favorite tunes, so get ready to sing along.

Enjoy an intermission performance at 6:30 p.m. by Saveena Patel, the Irvine High School Youth Action Team Akustikoff winner.
