The City of Irvine is actively educating the community on how businesses, residents, and City facilities can replace single-use plastics with reusable or nonplastic items. Doing so reduces business

Join the Irvine Police Department for National Night Out, an event that brings neighbors and public safety together for a safer and stronger community.

The event will take place Tuesday, August 6, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Palm Court Arts Complex. Meet Irvine Police officers and Orange County firefighters, see the police and fire vehicles and equipment, and take part in activities. There will also be food trucks, community booths, and giveaways.

The community is also invited to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to Families Forward.

Continuing the Irvine Nights series on Friday, July 19, join us for a night of musical magic as the Great Park Live stage comes alive with the party band, Tijuana Dogs.

Irvine Nights is your ultimate destination for unforgettable memories, with the best in entertainment, food, and community spirit. For more information and future events go to greatparklive.com.

During a large-scale disaster, the response of any community’s emergency services may be delayed or overwhelmed for a variety of reasons.  This leaves the citizens of the community - family, neighbors, and co-workers - to provide for their own well-being and safety until professional responders arrive.  As a member of the community, you can help the City respond to a disaster by preparing your family, home, school and work. This reality is the cornerstone of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program.
