The Remembering our Fallen exhibit with photos and mementos of over 750 Californian service men and women who died in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq since 2001 will be at the Irvine Civic Center from November 8 through November 21. The welcoming ceremony at 2 p.m. at the Civic center will be followed by a candle lighting ceremony at the Northwood Gratitude and Honor Memorial.

Talented Orange County artists will showcase unique handmade gifts for purchase, including holiday decorations, hand blown glass, ceramics, jewelry, folk crafts, clothing and more. Featuring an interactive craft area and festive holiday music, the Faire offers the opportunity to shop while experiencing the excitement of the season. Selected food items are available for purchase in collectible ceramic bowls made by Fine Arts Center volunteers.

Admission: $2 per person; children 12 and younger are free.
Time: November 6: 5-9 p.m.; November 7: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Help make the season brighter for Irvine's adopted Marine Battalion families by donating a new, unwrapped gift suitable for infants or children through age 12. Donations accepted at the Irvine Civic Center, Irvine Police Department and the Orange County Great Park Visitors Center.

Help support hunger relief efforts by donating canned goods or non-perishable food items to benefit local food banks.
Time: Donations accepted Thursday & Friday 10 a.m.-10 p.m. and Saturday & Sunday 9 a.m.-10 p.m.

Grab your swimsuit, floatie and family and come on down to the pool for a movie. Swim and float in the pool while Big Hero 6 plays on the big screen. Lifeguards will be on duty.
Time: Pool opens at 6:30 p.m., movie begins at dusk.
Fee: Recreation swim fees $2/per child and $4/adult
