The City of Irvine is proud to recognize and pay tribute to Irvine’s military heroes for their sacrifice and service through programs, events and services, including the City’s Military Banner Program. Family members and loved ones may nominate an active duty service member from any branch of the military to be honored with a street banner with the individual’s name and photo. The banner will be prominently displayed on Culver Drive throughout their tour of duty.

The City of Irvine's Parks Master Plan was adopted by the City Council on June 13, 2017, following an extensive community engagement process and several public meetings.

Special events are scheduled regularly at the Irvine Animal Care Center (such as the Super Pet Adoption and Home for the Holidays events), senior centers, the Irvine Fine Arts Center (such as the Studio Arts Festival and Holiday Faire) and the Orange County Great Park. Each year, the City also hosts the Irvine Global Village Festival, a free event featuring international cuisine, live entertainment, a Kids Village with crafts and activities, cultural and religious exhibits, and an international marketplace.

Donate to Senior Services

The City of Irvine Senior Services helps seniors meet the challenges of aging by providing essential services to support independence, safety and quality of life. These services could not be provided without the support of the community. Your investment shapes a stronger, healthier Irvine senior community.
