Voter registration forms are available at City Hall and numerous City facilities. First time voters must register to vote. You must re-register if you have moved by completing a new form. You must also be registered at least 15 days prior to the election in which you intend to vote. If you do not live in Orange County, please contact the County Registrar of Voters in the county that you reside.

Invocations are offered as part of the regular City Council agenda and typically take place at approximately 5 p.m. following the Pledge of Allegiance.

How to Obtain Copies of Building Plans

The City of Irvine follows California Health and Safety Code Section 19851 for all requests to duplicate official copies of building plans maintained by the City.

The Office of Records and Information acts as an intermediary between the public and certified, licensed, or registered professionals ("Licensed Professional") to ensure compliance with federal and state copyright protection laws (17 U.S.C. §§ 102(A)(8), 106).  

Request for Appeal is to be used when appealing a decision of the Director of Community Development, the Zoning Administrator or the Planning Commission.  A request to appeal a decision of the Director of Community Development and/or the Zoning Administrator shall be appealed to the Planning Commission.  An appeal based on a decision of the Planning Commission shall be appealed to the City Council.  All appeals shall be filed in accordance with Irvine Zoning Code Section 2-5-1 et al an
