The 2015 Special Olympics World Games will be held in Los Angeles in July. For three days preceding the Opening Ceremony, Irvine will host a delegation of 90 athletes and support personnel representing Korea. The Irvine Host Town Committee, sponsors, community volunteers, and City staff have collaborated to create an array of activities for the delegates to experience Irvine and socialize with the community members, including local Special Olympians.

Hosted by Woodbridge Tennis Club and City of Irvine

Time: Matches begin at 8 a.m.
Locations: Colonel Bill Barber Marine Corps Memorial Park; David Sills Lower Peters Canyon and Heritage Community Parks; Woodridge Tennis Club North; and South Lake, University and Northwood High School

Fee: $60/singles, $30/doubles, free admission for spectators
