The Irvine Fine Arts Center will present the annual High School Art Exhibition and countywide Imagination Celebration.
The High School Art Exhibition is a multimedia show featuring art produced by students from Irvine high schools, including drawing, painting, photography and ceramics.
The Public Works Landscape Maintenance Division maintains over 1,700 acres of parks, greenbelts, and street landscapes including Great Park, 23 community parks, 39 neighborhood parks, and seven specialty facilities which include Central Bark Park, trailheads, and the Irvine Transportation Center. The Division also maintains over 76,000 trees.

The City of Irvine, with financial support from the Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee, recently purchased a street sweeper powered by compressed natural gas demonstrating the City of Irvine’s continued commitment to clean transportation as well as compliance with the South Coast Air Quality Management District requirements for the use of alternative fuel heavy-duty vehicles
The Fleet Services division provides comprehensive vehicle and equipment preventive maintenance, automated fueling and other vehicle services exclusively for the City's motorized vehicle fleet and heavy equipment. Also, Fleet Services performs routine maintenance on miscellaneous equipment and routinely fabricates vehicle modifications at the request of City departments.
As part of several strategic initiatives designed to combat visible deterioration, the City of Irvine has adopted a "Zero Tolerance Policy" regarding graffiti. Responsibility for the Graffiti Removal Program is shared between the Public Works and Public Safety Departments.
The process of graffiti removal occurs in the following way: Your telephone call is logged and evaluated for severity and urgency of the problem. Based on this assessment, City maintenance staff, a contractor, or an outside agency will be dispatched to the site to eradicate the graffiti.
The City of Irvine boasts an excellent building and facilities maintenance staff of 20 members. Together, they care for the indoor and outdoor maintenance of 116 City sites, including community parks, pump stations, lighting, neighborhood parks, trails, bridges, irrigation pumps, tunnels and special facilities such as the Irvine Civic Center, Child Care Center and the Animal Care Center.

Neighborhood Traffic Engineering assesses traffic characteristics, implements traffic control measures, and maintains traffic management databases. It reviews plans involving roadway striping and signing modification. It provides expert advice on vehicle and pedestrian flow near schools, assists Public Safety and Risk Management in accident investigation and litigation, and provides public information and outreach on parking and traffic management through media, public workshops, and meetings.
