The City of Irvine seeks to honor and remember its residents who have died from COVID-19 by establishing a memorial webpage and tribute. Sadly, 80 Irvine residents have succumbed to COVID-19 since the pandemic began. The memorial webpage offers the community an opportunity to remember loved ones lost to the coronavirus. The webpage will be updated as new submissions are received.

The community is invited to watch the swearing-in ceremony for the newly-elected Mayor and City Councilmembers from 2-3 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8. Councilmember Farrah N. Khan will be sworn in as Mayor, while Councilmember Mike Carroll, Councilmember-elect Tammy Kim, and Councilmember-elect Larry Agran will be sworn into office for their respective terms.
