By emergency declaration, the Irvine City Council has extended the closure of City facilities indefinitely. The Council also approved modifying the Northwood Memorial Candle Lighting Ceremony, scheduled for May 24, in consideration of economic uncertainty and to limit non-essential gatherings to help combat the spread of COVID-19 in our community.

The City of Irvine is supporting a volunteer-driven food drive benefiting Families Forward. The community is invited to participate in an "Irvine Neighbors Helping Irvine Neighbors" drive-through food collection event on Saturday, May 2 from 9 a.m. to noon.
