Run, Walk, Wag: 5K to Benefit Animals in Need

Thank You for Going the Extra Mile!

Thank you for participating in this year’s Virtual 5K! Whether you ran, walked, or wagged your way through the miles, your support helped make a real difference for the animals in our care.

Every step you took helped raise awareness and much-needed funds for our animals in residence — and we couldn't have done it without you.

The City of Irvine Animal Care Center will host its 12th annual Super Pet Adoption 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Sunday, June 3. More than 40 pet rescue groups and animal shelters will bring about 600 homeless dogs, cats, rabbits and small animals for adoption.

The annual event features dozens of pet-related vendors, gourmet food trucks, a silent auction, low-cost microchipping and an opportunity drawing. Each animal available for adoption is spayed or neutered, microchipped and evaluated by a veterinarian. Cats and dogs are vaccinated appropriate to age.
