Structure Synthesis is a contemporary exhibition where two Southern California artists explore logic, mathematical patterns and structure through works on paper and panel. Rob Brown's work si based on experimental printing processes and his interest in cognitive science, while Melissa Manfull's vibrant and mystical compositions are influenced by science fiction, architecture and game design. Structure Synthesis showcases the artists' unique approach to generating imagery and calls for a shift in the way we respond to visual stimuli.

The 2015 Special Olympics World Games will be held in Los Angeles in July. For three days preceding the Opening Ceremony, Irvine will host a delegation of 90 athletes and support personnel representing Korea. The Irvine Host Town Committee, sponsors, community volunteers, and City staff have collaborated to create an array of activities for the delegates to experience Irvine and socialize with the community members, including local Special Olympians.
