City of Irvine Child Care Needs Assessment
Prepared by Brion Economics, Inc., with Nilsson Consulting, the assessment includes an analysis of the current supply and demand for child care (as of 2014), and future demand through 2035, when the City is expected to be built out.
Opening a Family Child Care Home
Family Child Care is provided in an individual's home in a small group setting.

Child care centers, nursery schools, parent cooperatives and preschools are center-based programs that care for children in groups of 12 or more.
