America's Potluck Gather and celebrate America 250 by joining a nationwide event of neighbors, families, and friends sharing a fun, communal meal to connect with one another. Host a potluck in your neighborhood and honor the freedoms we enjoy as Americans, with the tradition of a Sunday dinner. Step back in time and explore the challenges faced by pioneers traveling from the Midwest to California. Get a glimpse into how families prepared for months-long journeys, carefully packing food, supplies, and essential belongings into wagons that also served as their shelter. Learn about the simple, sustaining diet that kept them going, along with the small comforts they brought to remind them of home. |

Early American Life: Textile Weaving Experience a colonial American craft by weaving your own small textile piece to celebrate America 250. This craft will be offered prior to the Movies on the Lawn: How to Train Your Dragon (2025) that will begin after sunset, weather permitting. |

Quill Feather Pen Close out the America 250 celebration by crafting your own colonial-style quill pen, inspired by those used to sign the United States Declaration of Independence. Imagine adding your name to history by artfully practicing your own handwritten signature. |
