Volunteer at the Festival
Each year, over 600 volunteers come together to take part in Irvine's largest and most popular cultural event, the Irvine Global Village Festival. It is a great opportunity to volunteer and support the diversity of our community.
Various event day shift times and roles are available for registration. Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age and are needed to assist in the following areas:
- Logistics: Equipment and supply set-up and break-down. Vendor assistance.
- General Event Support: Exhibit preparation and general tasks. Information booth support.
- Kids Village and Sports & Games Arena: Activity support and queue line management.
- Restaurants: Diner assistance and tabletop maintenance.

Each year, enthusiastic community volunteers lend their time and positive energy to planning the annual Irvine Global Village Festival. Steering committee members attend monthly meetings and work cooperatively with volunteers and City staff to assist in planning Festival activities, reviewing entertainment, merchant and/or vendor applications, as well as helping to solicit event volunteers, applicants and sponsors. We would like to thank our dedicated volunteers and we look forward to another successful event.
