South Yale Corridor Improvements project

The City of Irvine will hold a meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at University Community Center to provide an update on the South Yale Corridor Improvements project and invite community feedback.

The project aims to reconfigure the roadway to accommodate Class IV separated bikeways on Yale Avenue between the I-405 Freeway and University Drive. It will enhance safety and connectivity for people who walk, bike, drive, and take transit, and improve connections among City of Irvine bike trails.

Final design will be complete this spring, with construction expected to begin this year, subject to funding availability.
