In 2017, the Organic Leadership Award was presented to the City of Irvine by Beyond Pesticides and Pepperdine University for the adoption of Irvine’s Integrated Pest Management Policy.
The California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) honored the City of Irvine for its effort to reduce the use of synthetic pesticides to manage pests with the 2019 IPM Achievement Award. The award recognizes organizations that use integrated pest management (IPM) to address the diverse pest management needs throughout California.
