Thanksgiving Holiday Closure

City of Irvine offices, aquatics facilities, and community centers will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving Day Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29. Additional facility information and/or modified hours can be found below.

Great Park:

  • Featured amenities at Great Park will be closed Thursday, November 28 but the park will be open for passive use. The park will resume regular operations on Friday, November 29. 

Irvine Animal Care Center:

  • November 28 - Closed.
  • November 29 - Closed. 

Irvine Fine Arts Center:

  • November 26 - Closes at 6 p.m.
  • November 27 - Closes at 6 p.m.
  • November 28 - Closed. 
  • November 29 - Closed. 

Irvine Police Department Business Desk:

  • November 28 - Closed.

Lakeview Senior Center

  • November 28 - Closed. 
  • November 29 - Closed. 

Rancho Senior Center:

  • November 28 - Closed. 
  • November 29 - Closed.  

Trabuco Center:

  • November 28 - Closed. 
  • November 29 - Closed.

Sweet Shade Ability Center:

  • November 28 - Closed.

Adventure Playground:

  • November 28 - Closed.

Street Sweeping and Trash Collection

There will be no street sweeping in the neighborhoods of El Camino, Beacon Park, Novel Park, Colony, Heritage Square, Stonegate, Parasol Park, and Cadence Park Thursday, November 28. There will be no sweeping in the neighborhoods of Northwood (east of Yale), Woodbury, Woodbury East, and Cypress Village on Friday, November 29.
