Health & Wellness Advisory Committee

Purpose and Mission: On February 25, 2025, the Irvine City Council approved an ordinance that establishes the Health & Wellness Advisory Committee to support the City of Irvine’s expanding health and wellness efforts. Its mission is to review, advise, and collaborate on initiatives related to children, youth, and family programs, housing assistance, supportive services, and community wellness programming. The Committee serves as a liaison between the City and the community, promotes City events, shares community feedback, and reports annually on progress and accomplishments. By merging and expanding the responsibilities of the former Irvine Child Care Advisory Committee and the Irvine Children, Youth, and Families Advisory Committee, the Health and Wellness Advisory Committee provides streamlined, comprehensive support that aligns with the mission of the City's Office of Health and Wellness.
