The City of Irvine, under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes, ensures that no person in the City of Irvine, on the grounds of race, color or national origin shall be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity it administers. The City of Irvine further assures every effort will be made to ensure non-discrimination in all of its programs, activities and services, whether those programs, activities and services are federally funded or not.

During a large-scale disaster, the response of any community’s emergency services may be delayed or overwhelmed for a variety of reasons.  This leaves the citizens of the community - family, neighbors, and co-workers - to provide for their own well-being and safety until professional responders arrive.  As a member of the community, you can help the City respond to a disaster by preparing your family, home, school and work. This reality is the cornerstone of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program.

Assembly Bill (AB) 2234 requires local jurisdictions to make available on their websites the requirements for any post-entitlement phase permit (including building permits or demolition permits) for projects that are primarily or entirely residential. Information required to be posted includes required submission materials and examples of complete plan sets for at least five types of housing projects.
