June is National Safety Month and we would like to remind you to Think Safety First. To help you take steps to stay safe, the Irvine Police Department will provide training that educates parents on risks associated with teen social media use and offers tools to navigate these platforms with personal safety in mind. Middle and high school students are welcome to attend with their parents.

Help animals find homes at the 13th annual Home for the Holidays pet adoption fair. More than 30 pet rescue groups and animal shelters will bring about 500 homeless dogs, cats, rabbits, and small animals for adoption. The fair also features dozens of pet-related vendors, gourmet food trucks, a silent auction, low-cost microchipping on-site, and an opportunity drawing. Suggested donation is $2 per person or $5 per family. Parking is free. For more information, visit irvineanimals.org or call 949-724-7740.
