Great Park, presented by UCI Health, has a rich foundation as the former Marine Corps Air Station El Toro, preserves Orange County’s agricultural heritage, and honors its military history. A project area spanning nearly 1,300 acres, with more than 500 acres developed and 300 acres in the first phase planning and design stage, the Great Park embraces recreation, competitive sports, parkland, and the environment.
The Palm Court Arts Complex is home to the Great Park Gallery, Great Park Studio, Hangar 244, and a shaded outdoor plaza enhanced by 54 Canary Islands date palms. This cultural campus supports the development of a fresh approach to establishing an interdisciplinary, public arts program.

Through One Irvine, the City partners with the residents of specific neighborhoods to identify and address local needs. Based on community feedback, the City then prepares a Neighborhood Action Plan outlining new policies and programs that can help strengthen and enhance resident quality of life.
