Great Park Walkable Historical Timeline is laid out on one of the former Marine Corps Air Station El Toro's taxiways, and guides visitors through 162 significant historical events of global, national, state, and regional significance.
This 2,604 foot long timeline is presented in three sections:
Great Park, presented by UCI Health, spans approximately 1,300 acres, with more than 500 acres developed and over 300 acres in the first phase planning and design stage. Upon completion, it will join America’s inventory of national treasures and set a new standard for great metropolitan parks around the world.
