The Irvine Police Department presents its 3rd annual Open House. This free event will feature Police Department tours; an opportunity to meet officers and K-9s; displays of patrol cars, motorcycles and other police vehicles; child-friendly activities; and food trucks. The Irvine Police Department (IPD) is joining the celebration for National Night Out. This annual tradition celebrated across the country will be held August 6 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the following locations:
- Cypress Community Park, 255 Visions
- University Community Park, 1 Beech Tree Lane
- The Ranch Neighborhood Park, 5161 Royale Ave.
The event offers a chance for neighbors to interact with each other and police personnel, as well as explore police vehicles and learn important crime prevention tips.
The public is invited to a free Grand Opening and fun-filled day from 2-9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, as the first phase of the Orange County Great Park’s Sports Park is unveiled. No RSVP is needed. Click
