A community meeting organized and led by Irvine residents is set for 7-9 tonight, Tuesday, April 3, at the Irvine Civic Center. The topic is the countywide homeless issue and its effect on the Irvine

The Bommer Canyon Community Park Rehabilitation Project focuses on refreshing the former Cattle Camp, originally built in 1967. The 15-acre rustic site is a popular setting for parties, company picnics, weddings, and family reunions. 

Community feedback on this project received from the City’s public outreach efforts in 2018, which included a public workshop and an online survey, was incorporated into the rehabilitation design for the Cattle Camp area.

On January 23, 2018, the Irvine City Council approved Ordinance 18-02, creating Title 4 Division 22 (Commercial Cannabis Testing Laboratories) of the Irvine Municipal Code, which allows cannabis testing laboratories in the City of Irvine. No other type of commercial cannabis business activity is permitted, including manufacturing, distribution, cultivation, or micro business.
