Through the One Irvine program, the City partners with the residents of specific neighborhoods to identify and address local needs. Based on community feedback, the City then prepares a Neighborhood Action Plan outlining new policies and programs that can help strengthen and enhance resident quality of life.
The City’s first Neighborhood Action Plan focuses on the North El Camino Real communities of Greentree, The Willows, and El Camino Glen in northern Irvine. As one of the community’s oldest residential neighborhoods developed between 1970 and 1975, North El Camino Real deserves focused attention to ensure it continues to be a strong part of the City’s neighborhood fabric.
During the summer of 2019, area residents shared their feedback through a community survey. Based on survey results, the City prepared a draft One Irvine Neighborhood Action Plan – North El Camino Real. The document may be accessed through this link.
