Impact Team Tennis Adult Leagues

These recreational, co-ed leagues for adults are played on weekday nights in Irvine. All matches start at 7:30 p.m. with 30 minutes of warm-up prior to the start of the match. A team match consists of six no-ad six-game sets and includes one set of men's and women's singles, men's, women's and two sets of mixed doubles.

Leagues run 8-10 weeks each. Every team makes the playoffs.

Each division and night are separated as follows:

NTRP 3.0: Tuesday
NTRP 3.5: Tuesday or Thursday
NTRP 4.0: Monday or Wednesday
NTRP 4.5/Open: Thursday

If you do not have a team, you can join the free agent list. To be added to the free agent list, please email tennis@cityofirvine.org

If you have a team:

Please send in your team name, division, night and team roster with a screenshot of USTA NTRP ratings to vranches@cityofirvine.org.

ALL players need to be rated through USTA, including self rated players.

When providing a screenshot of a teammate’s NTRP rating, please use an up to date screenshot. If an old screenshot is used for NTRP verification and a new or updated NTRP rating is discovered, the whole team may be removed from the league.

A player’s NTRP rating may not exceed the division they’re playing in. A 3.5 or 4.0 player cannot play in 3.0, 4.0 or 4.5 in 3.5 and 4.5 or 5.0 in 4.0.

There will be a 14 player maximum per team. A team must have a minimum of four men and four women.

Sending a team in for verification DOES NOT mean your team is guaranteed to be in.

A player can only captain no more than two teams.

Teams will have until Tuesday, April 28 at 10am PT to submit their team and roster information for verification.

Team Registration on the City of Irvine registration website starts on Tuesday, April 28 at 12pm PT. The spots will be first come, first serve. Only verified teams can register. Captains need to pay the full team fee in order to register.

The waitlist will also be in order, in case registered teams decide to pull out after registering or a non-verified team registers.

Team Fee: $725

The registration links will be sent out at a later date.

All players must complete the rec.impactteamtennis.com registration and City of Irvine waiver before rosters are finalized on Monday, May 18 at 5pm.
