Volunteer at CicloIrvine

Be a part of a one-of-a-kind community event transforming 1.4 miles of Campus Drive into a completely car-free zone!

Whether you're volunteering on your own or as part of a group, CicloIrvine offers a range of opportunities to get involved and make a difference in the community. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old and shifts will occur between 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Volunteers needed to support in the following areas:

Join the City of Irvine, Irvine Ranch Conservancy, and Irvine Company for an open space celebration on Saturday, April 19, beginning at 9 a.m. at the Quail Hill Trailhead. Guests will be treated to a free pancake breakfast, family-fun activities, and a hike of the 1.8-mile Quail Hill Loop Trail. The guided hike will begin at 10:30 a.m. and is family-friendly, but please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes.

The Irvine Police Department will host an Open House Saturday, September 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held in the piazza and parking lot of the Irvine Civic Center located at 1 Civic Center Plaza.

See police and fire vehicles along with skill demonstrations from K-9, drone, and motorcycle officers. There will be opportunities to take photos, play games, get a face painting, and receive special giveaways while supplies last. Food will be available for purchase.

Join the Irvine Police Department for National Night Out, an event that brings neighbors and public safety together for a safer and stronger community.

The event will take place Tuesday, August 5, 5:30–7:30 p.m., at the Great Park Palm Court Arts Complex. Meet Irvine Police officers and Orange County firefighters, see the police and fire vehicles and equipment, and take part in activities. There will also be food trucks, community booths, and giveaways.

The City of Irvine will host a community budget meeting March 13 to highlight the upcoming Fiscal Year 2025-27 Budget. Staff from the City's Administrative Services Department will present an overview of the budget process through presentations and dialogue in order to answer budget questions and gain insight in identifying community priorities.

As part of the City’s ongoing promotion of our environmental programs and sustainability goals, the Sustainability Division will be hosting an Induction Cooking Workshop and Demonstration. The event will span for one and a half hours and will feature local award-winning chef Katie Chin who will demonstrate how to make various ethnically diverse dishes on an all-electric induction cooktop, as well as discuss the benefits of switching from a gas range to an all-electric stovetop.
