The City of Irvine and Orange County Waste & Recycling (OCWR) are hosting an informational meeting about the Frank R. Bowerman Landfill on Wednesday, September 18, from 6-7 p.m. Listen, learn, and ask questions about the current and future landfill operations.

Effective January 1, 2022, Assembly Bill 48 requires each law enforcement agency, within a specified time frame, to post on their internet website a summary of any incident in which a kinetic energy projectile or chemical agent is deployed by that agency for the purpose of crowd control.

The City of Irvine has implemented an innovative pavement coating pilot program that extends the life of City streets while helping to reduce heat from the ground up.

DuraShield Solar Reflective is a waterborne epoxy-modified acrylic grey pavement coating, similar to slurry seal. The coating is designed to reduce pavement surface temperature and may reduce ambient air temperatures. It also reduces UV and heat damage to pavement.
