Explore our unique agricultural outdoor classroom and learn inspiring ways to create, grow, and interact in the Farm + Food Lab.

On March 21, mix up a batch of lightweight but incredibly strong hypertufa for children to create their own planter pots. Bring some fun beads, shells, or other creative little things that will make your pots uniquely yours! Dress for mess. Registration is required at yourirvine.org.

Please note: The City of Irvine continues to follow state and local health and safety guidelines. Our community centers and indoor facilities are open for drop-in use. Outdoor recreational spaces including parks, playgrounds, and athletic fields and courts are open. Irvine Fine Arts Center exhibitions are available for walk-in visitors. Recreational programming, including Open Studio, is available to the community for registration at yourirvine.org.

The farm comes alive through stories and activities. While visiting the Farm + Food Lab, give a book and take a book from our Little Free Library.

Registration not required for this free event; drop-ins welcome. Parent participation required. Ages 3-6.
