The Irvine Police Department (IPD) will be participating in the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Community members can drop off unwanted medications at four designated locations in the City of Irvine. This free service, which allows the public to anonymously discard prescription medications, addresses a vital public safety and public health issue. The participating sites are:

Deliver nutritious, healthy, great-tasting meals to homebound older adults in Irvine. Volunteers provide a vital service to older adults who are unable to prepare meals for themselves.
The weather is getting colder and the holidays are near; it's time for a celebration with those we hold dear. Join Irvine Senior Services for an evening of holiday cheer, including hor d'oeuvres, entertainment, and pictures with Santa. Event fee is $7 per person; register online at yourirvine.org.
