Two Southern California artists explore the ideas of logic, mathematical patterns and structure through works on paper and panel.

Melissa Manfull’s vibrant and mystical compositions are influenced by the aesthetics of science fiction, architecture and game design, while Rob Brown’s work is based on experimental printing processes and his interest in cognitive science.

Structure Synthesis showcases the artists’ unique approach to generating imagery and calls for a shift in the way we respond to visual stimuli.

The Senior Fitness Expo provides older adults aged 50+ with learning opportunities to improve well-being through exercise, mental health and nutrition.

Health screenings, nutrition presentations, fitness demonstrations and a wide variety of the latest health and fitness vendors will be available.

Fitness demonstrations include Mind Fitness, MELT, Zumba Gold, Yoga, and Tai Chi.

Nutrition demonstrations will also include simple tips and tricks for healthy cooking.

There will also be an opportunity drawing.

Explore and make friends while making a mess in this free-form creative workshop geared to introduce Little Learners to different art media in a studio environment.

Participants will create to their hearts' content with instructors close by to provide technique tips and tricks.

Workshop offered quarterly.

Parent participation required.

Art supplies provided. Age 3-6.

The Irvine Fine Arts Center will host the 21st annual Studio Arts Festival.

The juried Festival will showcase more than 100 Southern California artists and their original works of art in ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, painting, photography, fiber and glass.

The City of Irvine is hosting an interactive Community Workshop to assist in the development of a Parks and Facilities Master Plan.

The completed Parks and Facilities Master Plan will help guide projects at new and existing parks and facilities over the next ten years. Attendees will learn more about the Parks and Facilities Master Plan and participate in engaging and interactive activities designed to produce feedback on the current and future state of the City’s park system.
