Grading and Right-of-Way Inspection Team
The Grading and Right-of-Way Inspection Team is responsible for making code required inspections related to all grading on private property, landscaping, and street construction improved as part of new privately funded development. Additionally, this team inspects all utility facilities constructed or installed within the City right-of-way. This team is comprised of inspectors specializing in the enforcement of the City's Grading Ordinance and Manual, City Street and Landscape standards, and traffic safety for construction standards.
Commercial Inspection Team
The Commercial Inspection Team is responsible for making code required inspections related to all non-residential building construction occurring on private property.
This team is comprised of inspectors specializing in the enforcement of one or more of the Building, Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical, and State Title 24 Accessibility and Energy Codes adopted by the City.
Residential Inspection Teams
There are two Residential Inspection teams. One team is responsible for making code required inspections related to the repairs, remodels and additions to existing residential buildings, and to the construction of new custom homes. The other team is responsible for making code required inspections related to the construction of all other new residential buildings. These teams are comprised of combination inspectors performing all aspects of enforcement of the Building, Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical, and State Title 24 Accessibility and Energy Codes adopted by the City as they pertain to residential construction.
