Twilight Holiday Social
December 6. The weather is getting colder and the holidays are near; its time for a celebration with those we hold dear. Join us for an evening of holiday cheer, including hors d'oeuvres, entertainment, and dancing. Twilight Holiday Social will take place Friday, December 6, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Trabuco Center. Registration is required at yourirvine.org. Fee is $10 per person.
2025 Special Events
Chinese New Year Celebration
January 29. Celebrate the New Year with cultural performances and a delicious luncheon. Presented by the Irvine Evergreen Chinese Senior Association. All proceeds are donated to Irvine Senior Services to support senior-based programs and services. Chinese New Year Celebration will take place Wednesday, January 29, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lakeview Senior Center. Registration is required at yourirvine.org. Fee is $20 per person.
Table Tennis Tournament
March 29. Find a partner and join us for a morning of friendly competition at the Senior Services Table Tennis Tournament. Enjoy light refreshments while challenging other plays from the community. All teams are guaranteed three games. Double splay only; partner's name required at the time of registration. Senior Services Table Tennis Tournament will take place Saturday, March 29, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Rancho Senior Center. Registration is required at yourirvine.org. Fee is $10 per team.
Exploring Our World
May 7. Celebrate social oneness as we explore different cultures. Learn new phrases, sample traditional food, and enjoy live performances. Exploring Our World will take place Wednesday, May 7, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Lakeview Senior Center. Registration is required at yourirvine.org. Fee is $7 per person.
Healthy Living Expo
September 19. Take control of your health and wellness. This free event geared toward adults 50 and older will include health screenings, nutrition information, demonstrations, and a wide variety of exhibitors showcasing products, services, and information. Senior Expo will take place Friday, September 19, from 9 a.m. to Noon at Lakeview Senior Center. This event is free; registration is not required. Visit irvineseniors.org/expo for more information.
Diwali
October 17. Celebrate Diwali, a popular and festive Indian tradition to welcome the New Year. Enjoy cultural entertainment and light refreshments. Presented by Ektaa Center: South Asian Senior Association. Diwali will take place Friday, October 17, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Lakeview Senior Center. Registration is required at yourirvine.org. Fee is $10 per person.
