Exploring Our World
May 6. Celebrate cultural exchange and social connection as you explore Rajasthan through food, music, and education. A state in northwest India known for its rich history, vibrant culture, and stunning landscapes, Rajasthan offers a mix of royal heritage and natural beauty. This program is part of an ongoing educational series presented by Irvine Multicultural Association (IMA). Exploring Our World will take place Wednesday, May 6, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lakeview Senior Center. Registration is required at yourirvine.org. Fee is $7 per person.
Better Together
June 13. Join us for Better Together, a day for the entire community to engage as one. Everyone aged 10 and older is invited to enjoy a morning filled with fun activities including dance, fitness, crafts, an opportunity drawing, and more. Whether you are age 10 or 110, there is something for everyone! Better Together will take place on Saturday, June 13, from 10 a.m. to noon at Lakeview Senior Center. This event is free; registration is required at yourirvine.org.
Variety Show
August 13. Join us for the annual Variety Show. Delight in an afternoon of theatrical entertainment with a variety of acts including singing, dancing, comedic skits, and more. Variety Show will take place on Thursday, June 13, from 12:30 to 3 p.m. at Lakeview Senior Center. This event is free; registration is required at yourirvine.org beginning May 15.
Healthy Living Expo
September 25. Take control of your health and wellness. This free event geared toward adults 50 and older will include health screenings, nutrition information, demonstrations, and a wide variety of exhibitors showcasing products, services, and information. Healthy Living Expo will take place Friday, September 25, from 9 a.m. to noon at Lakeview Senior Center. This event is free; registration is not required. Diwali
October 30. Celebrate Diwali, a popular and festive Indian tradition to welcome the New Year. Enjoy cultural entertainment and light refreshments. Presented by Ektaa Center: South Asian Senior Association. Diwali will take place Friday, October 30, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Lakeview Senior Center. Registration is required at yourirvine.org beginning August 15. Fee is $10 per person.
Twilight Holiday Social
December 4. The weather is getting colder and the holidays are near; its time for a celebration with those we hold dear. Join us for an evening of holiday cheer, including hors d'oeuvres, entertainment, and dancing. Twilight Holiday Social will take place Friday, December 4, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Trabuco Center. Registration is required at yourirvine.org beginning August 15. Fee is $10 per person.
