Susan Hart IPTPA Level I Certified Coach Susan has been an avid pickleball player since 2017 and began coaching and running clinics in her community in 2021. Susan has played in numerous leagues, tournaments, and round robins, and has amassed quite a collection of medals — bronze, silver, and gold. Her true enjoyment of the game, however, is in social play with her many pickleball friends, as well as meeting new friends on the courts. She also loves sharing her passion for pickleball with new players and helping to sharpen the skills of more experienced players. Her goal as a coach is to build a solid foundation and impart a clear understanding of the rules and strategies of the game. She brings years of pickleball experience, along with patience, humor, and lots of positive energy. Susan is a California native, born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley, but she left the state to live and raise her children in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico, for 11 years. She now resides in Mission Viejo and plays pickleball almost daily in Irvine, Tustin, and Newport Beach. She was previously in the culinary industry — baking for restaurants, making wedding cakes and other beautiful desserts, and teaching children's cooking classes. When not on the pickleball courts, she spends her time playing softball, roller skating, and cooking for friends. She enjoys time with her family, including her four daughters and three grandsons.
