The Venta Spur Trail Crossings Improvements Project will review street crossings along the trail that do not have a traffic signal. The goal of the project is to identify opportunities to improve safety and accessibility for all users.

The Irvine Police Department will host an Open House Saturday, April 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held in the piazza and parking lot of the Irvine Civic Center, located at 1 Civic Center Plaza.

See police and fire vehicles along with skill demonstrations from K-9, drone, and motorcycle officers. There will be opportunities to take photos, play games, get a face painting, and receive special giveaways while supplies last. Food will be available for purchase.

In honor of Women’s History Month, the City of Irvine is hosting a Women’s Conference that will bring community members together for a day of education, empowerment, and connection Friday, March 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. at Irvine City Hall.

The event will feature panel discussions and breakout sessions focused on a range of topics, including healthcare and wellness, domestic violence awareness and resources, financial education and independence, intergenerational opportunities and challenges, older adulthood planning, and entrepreneurship.
