Join the City of Irvine for a one-of-a-kind, interactive community experience at the State of the Great Park, where residents, neighbors, and visitors can explore the past, celebrate the present, and envision the exciting future of one of the nation’s most ambitious public projects.

The Great Park belongs to all of us. This is a chance to celebrate how far we’ve come — and to dream together about what’s next.

Whether you’ve been here since day one or you’re just discovering the magic of the Great Park, this is your moment to engage, explore, and be inspired.

In partnership with the City of Irvine, Waste Management is hosting a free paper-shredding event Saturday, June 7, 9–11 a.m. at Lakeview Senior Center. Irvine Residents can safely and securely dispose of up to five banker-size file boxes. The event is first-come, first-served and will end early if the truck capacity is reached. Customers who wish to watch their paper be shredded will need to park in a designated area away from the truck and staff.

Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at the Irvine Civic Center, Council Chamber.
