The following items are required to be completed prior to project acceptance for processing:

1. Plan check fees and deposits are required to be paid in full upon submittal (see Fee Schedule). Save time at the counter by asking for your plan check fees to be calculated in advance. Simply fax the filled-out Application, Data Sheet, and OCFA Screening Form to (949) 724-6420. Please allow at least 24 hours for a response.

Public Access Portal

The Political Reform Act (Gov. Code sections 81000-91014) requires most state and local government officials and employees to publicly disclose their personal assets and income. They also must disqualify themselves from participating in decisions which may affect their personal economic interests.

The City of Irvine Municipal Code and Zoning Code are available on-line. The on-line versions are key-word searchable to help you locate the exact item you are interested in. Ordinances adopted by the City Council but not yet codified are posted to the web between supplements and are available upon initial access of the respective code.

Public Access Portal

The Campaign Statement Public Portal contains financial information provided by candidates and committees. It can answer questions about who is contributing money, who is receiving money, and how it is being spent.

Use the Campaign Statement Public Portal to research campaign contributions and expenditures, review campaign statements filed by candidates and committees, or examine a committee's filing history by election.

Plan Check Payment: When a plan is required by the Administrative Authority to be submitted, a plan check fee shall be paid at the time of plan submittal. (See Building and Safety Fees below)

Permit Payment: All required permit fees shall be paid by the applicant at the time of issuance. These fees are based on the cost per square foot and the type of construction.  (See Building and Safety Fees below)
