This information is intended for residents of Irvine who frequently visit and enjoy recreating at the numerous pools available in your communities.  Because pools are within a public place and often are not attended by lifeguards, the Irvine Police Department urges everyone visiting our community pools to exercise personal safety by staying alert and attentive to their surroundings, to unattended children near the pool and to suspicious activities you may observe during your visit.

Criminal behavior can endanger our personal safety, damage public and private property, and lower your quality of life. The Irvine Police Department’s Crime Prevention Unit takes a proactive approach by discussing information about crime in the community and by providing safety tips on how to prevent or reduce crime.

The City of Irvine is committed to providing services, recognition, and continuing support to all active duty, reservists, veterans, and retired members of the United States military. Below, you can find detailed information and resource links to relevant programs and services for active duty and veteran military personnel.

The City of Irvine is proud to recognize and pay tribute to Irvine’s military heroes for their sacrifice and service through programs, events and services, including the City’s Military Banner Program. Family members and loved ones may nominate an active duty service member from any branch of the military to be honored with a street banner with the individual’s name and photo. The banner will be prominently displayed on Culver Drive, between Alton and Barranca Parkways, throughout their tour of duty.
