The City of Irvine invites the community to share input on Northwood Community Park playground improvements at an outreach meeting Monday, May 19, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Northwood Community Center.

The Northwood Community Park Improvement Project is designed to enhance park amenities and incorporate accessibility improvements, ensuring the space meets the needs of local residents. The project will focus on replacing outdated equipment, adding new features, and preserving the park’s unique castle-themed charm.

In honor of Harvey Milk Day and June Pride Month, the City of Irvine will host its fourth annual Pride in Irvine event Thursday, May 22, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Irvine Civic Center Piazza. Join us as we raise the Progress Flag in front of City Hall in recognition and support of our LGBTQIA+ community. 

Explore programs provided by local advocacy and support organizations. Enjoy refreshments and activities while learning about valuable resources, making connections, and celebrating Pride at this free event!

UC Irvine is collaborating with the City of Irvine to host City of Irvine Day at Anteater Ballpark Thursday, May 15. The community is invited to watch the UC Irvine baseball team take on Orange County rival Cal State Fullerton on a day celebrating the relationship between the City and the university.
  
UC Irvine baseball currently sits atop the Big West with a 20-4 record, and overall the team is 34-11 and ranked No. 13 in the nation.
