Program Proposals

Are you interested in presenting a program at the library? Irvine Public Library is committed to offering programs that complement our collections, services, and goals — we welcome program proposals from presenters and performers. To propose a library program, please read our guidelines and fill out the Program Proposal Form.

Program Proposal Guidelines

  • The library typically schedules all programs at least 6 months in advance.
  • Program proposals are evaluated based on the needs and interests of the community, program space availability, and library staff resources.
  • Programs are open to the public and free of charge to attendees.
  • Programs must be non-commercial, and direct solicitation is not allowed.

Please note, the library receives a high volume of program proposals. If we are interested in evaluating your services further, you will be contacted by staff. Not all applicants will be contacted. Program proposals will be kept on file for one year.

To submit a program proposal, please fill out this form.
