Irvine Station Connects… is a City effort to understand the needs for multi-modal access to and from the Irvine Station to enhance connectivity for pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit users of all types. The Project Team will host a Virtual Town Hall Meeting from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 27 to understand community travel needs around the Irvine Station (1-mile buffer).

Registration is required at yourirvine.org (registration opens August 22); $59 fee is per participant and includes project supplies. Ages 21+.

Scholastic chess players are invited to challenge their minds at the 45th Staser Chess Tournament. It features a free K-8 non-rated section and a UCSF K-12 rated section for a $35 entry fee. Ages 5-18.

Create a stocking to hang by the chimney with care, as our local artist provides a step-by-step lesson to paint a fun and festive design.

It's crafty, sustainable, delicious, and fun. UC Master Food Preserver chefs will demonstrate how to preserve what you harvest or purchase. 

On December 12, watch as a variety of seasonally available citrus are used to make delicious marmalade and dehydrated specialties. Event is free, but registration is recommended at yourirvine.org (registration opens August 22). Ages 16+.
