The City of Irvine launched a grant program to assist residents of The Meadows with code enforcement-related repairs. The program offered up to $5,000 for eligible improvements.

The community is invited to the City of Irvine’s swearing-in ceremony for the newly elected City Councilmembers Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 6 p.m.

Councilmembers-elect William Go, Melinda Liu, and James Mai, along with Councilmember Mike Carroll and Vice Mayor Larry Agran, who have both been re-elected, will be sworn into office for their respective terms.

In November 2024 the City of Irvine unveiled the addition of an electric street sweepers to its fleet. 

A 2024 Dulevo D-Zero Plus sweeper known as "Evie" will be used to clean:

  • Trails
  • Bikeways
  • Parking lots

The electric street sweeper reaches top speeds of 20 mph.
