The City of Irvine has a designated LGBTQIA+ liaison to serve as a resource to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender community.

The Irvine Police Department has two designated police officers to serve as liaisons to the LGBTQ+ community.

The Harvard Skate Park combines a safe and positive environment with a high-quality skateboarding facility. It offers 10,000 square feet of skating surface, a spine, the Bowl, and lights for skating at night. Since opening in the summer of 2000, the Harvard Skate Park has become one of the top skateboarding locations in Orange County. All ages and skill levels are welcome.

Sponsored by the Irvine Animal Care Center, this annual event features more than 500 dogs, cats and rabbits available for adoption along with pet-related vendors, a silent auction, raffle prizes, Ask-A-Vet and Ask-A-Trainer booths and much more.
